“I am a long-time resident, active community member, and local small business owner. I stood down as a councillor six years ago for family reasons, but now I have the capacity to serve my community again.
“As a family lawyer with a background in tax law, I have a strong financial understanding and the ability to engage with diverse members of our community. My previous commitment to sound financial governance, regular community engagement, and open communication remains unchanged.
“During my tenure as a councillor, I was heavily involved in a program to analyse planned capital expenditure, focusing on reducing rate rises without compromising services while investing in making Kāpiti a great place to live and work.
“My dedication to our community, combined with my professional background and previous experience as a councillor, positions me well to serve on the local council once again. Your vote will let me do that.”
