“Though born in Kansas, USA, I feel privileged to have lived in NZ for 35 years – and in Kāpiti for almost a quarter of a century.
“A member of the New Zealand String Quartet for 26 years, I now teach violin and chamber music at both local colleges and still perform occasionally.
“I believe we must be passionate that our community retains and builds on its vibrant cultural and artistic attributes.
“It is as well necessary to support organisations and institutions that promote real engagement in a society which offers opportunities to all of its residents.
“I’m committed to making informed decisions on behalf of our community.”
