“Why am I standing for District wide council? I want to help keep the council honest. There are too many secret squirrel activities, hidden from public view.
“With the help of likeminded councilors keep the council focused on core objectives and spending.
“5% cap on rates.
“The district is currently undergoing an unprecedented building growth spurt. It is essential our infrastructure keeps pace.
“In the 2022 – 2024 term grant funding increased by 150%, with the help of likeminded councillors ensure council spending in this area is effectively distributed and kept under control.
“Help ensure community facilities such as libraries, pools, and parks are well maintained.
“I want to ensure there are suitable facilities for our growing youth population.
“The wellbeing of senior citizens.
“Supporting local business.
“I believe in democracy, and I am open minded. I am always open to hearing what the people of Kāpiti district want.”
