“I live in Raumati Beach and I’m excited to stand for the Paraparaumu Ward with the We Love Kāpiti team.
“We have investigated ways to stop the planned doubling of your rates over the next 10 years and we intend to cap average future increases to no more than 3% p.a.
“We’ll bring transparency by sharing information and plans with budget implications.
“We’ll ask for and listen to your feedback and then we’ll make decisions. We will engage with you often, in open and transparent ways.
“I’ve spent over 20 years working in a central government agency, successfully completing multi- million dollar contracts, and more recently, I have supported the work of the Concerned Ratepayers Kāpiti. I have first-hand experience leading change that focuses on delivering results that matter.
“The changes we need are complex – that’s why we need a multi-skilled team.
“Together, we’ll focus on delivering real local democracy.”
