Councillor – Districtwide
I’m standing for re-election as a District-wide Councillor.
Our family has called Kāpiti home for 25 years so, thank you for the opportunity to give back to our community.
As Deputy Mayor, I’ve worked to bring a consistent, collaborative approach to council governance; supporting sound, measured decision-making, while championing outcomes that serve the whole of Kāpiti.
I’ve contributed to visionary long-term planning, a more disciplined approach to council spending, and helped build trust in council processes, while endeavouring to keep people at the centre of our decisions.
I’m a pastor, community advocate, strategic-thinker, and servant leader who displays integrity and empathy.
My goals are:
Demonstrate effective, stable governance.
Provide experienced, values-based leadership.
Keep council spending focused—delivering value without waste.
Prioritise well-planned physical and social infrastructure for a thriving district.
Listen to people and lead from my learnings.
