“Paekākāriki and Raumati have been home for most of my life, so these places are in my bones.
“As Chair of the Raumati Community Board for three years, I’ve changed how we do things. I’ve put people first, engaged openly, and helped make sensible decisions. Council can be more like that, too. But we need the system to serve people, and we need to know that all our voices are heard.
“I’m driven by a desire to grow vibrant, healthy, connected communities. To get us there I’m already working on seawalls, the Wharemauku and Whareroa streams, town centres, local arts, social support, waka activity, local small business, housing, and more. But I want to help nurture your vision, not just mine.
A vote for me will see your voice reflected in decisions, develop greater clarity about our rates, and help Council decisions prioritise the impact on people.
