“Kāpiti is growing fast and has huge opportunities. We attract vibrant people and I want to empower them to help create a magnificent future that provides all our needs locally.
“Action on schools and hospital – With a population of 58,000 Kāpiti is entitled to existing government funding for a new 140+ bed hospital, 1 High School, and 2 Primary-Intermediate schools.
“Locals supporting locals – Together we can create a self-sufficient community with opportunities for job training, skill-sharing, entertainment, festivals, small business support, and spaces to learn and gather.
“I will be your voice delivering community needs.
“No rates increase – We can achieve all this and more without increasing rates through investments, partnerships, minimising wastage and existing government funding.
“I have owned businesses since 1984. My wife of 27 Years is an accountant and economist. I have worked within upper levels of government, agencies, defense and commercial electronic security. Due to this I have a very small public profile, however this experience in communicating with clients across the vast sectors has been paramount to my success.
“Living in Kāpiti since 1999 I am 100% committed to the Kāpiti community, our three boys are achieving honorable success in NZ Universities. I would like to take the Kāpiti Region on a similar journey of success.
