The most recently established business in Kāpiti has been set up by the latest young Kāpiti entrepreneur to establish and run his own business.
Brandon Foote has started Kāpiti Automotive Solutions in Paraparaumu and says he is looking forward to the challenges.
“At this stage it’s pretty much a one man band but I’m optimistic,” says Brandon who recently opened his workshop at 33 Hinemoa St.
“We are doing general automotive work and general mechanical repairs. We will also be doing Warrants of Fitness, maintenance, and diagnostics,” says Brandon who had trained in mechanical engineering before taking up work with Shaft Automotive in Waikanae.
Brandon then spent three years at HMC Kāpiti before their forced closure left him with the option of looking for another position or striking out on his own.
He says setting up his own business has risks but he is ready for the challenge.
Brandon says new business is welcome.
