Kāpiti Chamber and 2degrees announce Flagship Economic Development Event for Kāpiti

The Kāpiti Business Chamber, in partnership with 2degrees, is presenting “Accelerating Business in Kāpiti”— a flagship economic development event designed to energise local business leaders and their teams.

Kāpiti Business Chamber chairperson Ben Jamieson says “this dynamic event invites business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to explore how relationships, innovation, and inclusive leadership can help shape a more vibrant local economy.”

The event takes place in Kāpiti on Monday 09 June, 8.30am – 11.30am at Te Raukura ki Kāpiti, Raumati.

Opening Keynote: Hon. Scott Simpson, Minister of Commerce

Mr Jamieson says the event will feature a powerhouse panel of business leaders, drawing inspiration and learnings from the Canterbury Ambition Project (when the business community were brought together to design a collective economic development strategy), digital transformation trends, and Māori economic development pathways.

“Panellists will share actionable insights and bold ideas for building a stronger business ecosystem in Kāpiti.”
